I have an enormous pet peeve about companies bringing trashy prototypes. Do you really think people want to look at a doll with a broken neck? Stupid, MGAE. Truly stupid.
Cool that they seem to be a more normal-sized doll line as opposed to the giantesses we got last time.
The orange girl looks like Mia Monarch from Fantasy Friends, while the blue and purple look like the dolls made in the much larger size.

I'm so thrilled to see darker skintones. The first series was very lacking. I do love the Egyptian boy, but I'm very confused why he's blond. Very confused. I will buy all these ones I'm seeing though. Really do love them all.

DAISY DAISY DAISY THEY MADE A DAISY!!!!!! All I wanted from this line was her. When I was younger, I got the Minnie 'n' Me dolls from the local supermarket and I love them. I still have them. Somewhere. So when I first saw Minnie in Walmart, all I wanted was for them to make Daisy and they did. I need that set. The other three new ones are adorable, too. I may need to go get some of the current ones now...

ReplyDeleteMy only hope is that there's a black-haired Egyptian girl to go with him. Then it's not quite so bad. But if their sole Egyptian representation is a pale blond...that's a huge issue. I'm an Egyptologist, so yeah, that's gonna bug me. I still want him, but I'm going to pretend he's from somewhere else and just got dressed up that way. I really, really hope there's a girl to go along with him, even if it's Antony and Cleopatra-inspired.
