BEARRIVAL

I'm behind on Bearrivals. I didn't end up getting anyone in January, but I've had a few this month. 

It took me three times to get just the right Mardi Gras. I wasn't satisified with the face on the one I got from CB Direct, so I ordered two from QVC, and finally ended up with this little cutie. 

Mardi Gras is a little 13" bear. Very lovely colors with the deep blue and bright pink. He's supposed to pair with an older bear named Firework. 

Here's my Firework. I've had him for years. 

Mardi Gras is a lot brighter pink, but you can still see the resemblance. 

Then we've got Hugh Mongous, the first of the two Bearhouse dinos to come out. 

He's supposed to be a T-Rex, but not with those hands. Sigh. 

He's super soft. This might be the same fur Grumbleweed used. I think it's tyber. 

Adorable. I love him. 

Treacle Toffee is my current obsession. 

I really wanted this bear and ended up importing her from Australia. 

This one is unlike the other Treacles I've seen, who, dare I say, tend to run cuter. My girl here is not cutesy. She's more elegant and mature-looking. I almost went for one of the cute ones, as that's what I'd had in mind, but she demanded I adopt her. 

And she was right to do so. She's perfection. 

She's weighty, but still cuddly. I'm not always into the long-haired ones for cuddling, but her fur is the silkiest long pile fur I've come across yet. She's definitely one of my faves from the 2023 collection. 

And my most recent guy is Terence. 

He's got unusual curly fur paired with maybe-tyber on his limbs and ears. It's soft, but I'm not 100% that it's tyber. I'm pretty sure it's the same fur Stef uses. Almost like Stuart's but a little more brown on the tipping. 

Terence is a pretty good cuddler. I mean, look at those eyes and those big round ears. He's just asking to be picked up! 

That's it for now. Hopefully, I'll have a lot more soon. My stockist had a family emergency and is still catching up, so I have I think four pending adoptions with two more on their way to her now.

REVIEW: Jakks Pacific Disney ILY Rapunzel

I'm so behind on reviews! My allergies have been kicking my butt this week. But I managed to get some pics of Rapunzel done. 

Outfit pieces.

Shoes.

I bought this doll for the doll. I'm not a big fan of any of the outfit pieces. I hate the shoes she wears in the box, though I do really like the ones she's wearing here. They're the only piece of her stock I'm not selling. 

This is actually cute, but I'd rather have her in something else. 

Not a fan of this top. Too baggy. 

I bought the Mirabel outfit for her to wear, but I'm not into those overalls at all. 

Okay, that's better. I'm not sure why I like her stock shoes so much, but I do. I love the headband. I think these shorts went to the original Jasmine fan and the sparkly on them works with the sparkly on the top. 

Not the best look ever, but it'll do until more fashion packs come out. She's definitely a candidate for redressing in the future.

5 Surprise Fairies

Do you guys have anything you search for on sites like ebay, Mercari, etc. that is really impossible to find? 

For me, it's the 5 Surprise fairies. I found the orange-haired one in my local toy store and fell in love with her. She's the cutest small fairy figure I have! (The wings are nice colors. They're just reflecting the flash.) 

I managed to find the middle one on ebay not long after. I had recognized that my fairy had to be from a 5 Surprise ball. I bought some of the pink ones when they first came out and had the mermaids and princesses. She reminded me of those. Thankfully, someone was selling an opened purple ball (second series of the original style 5 Surprise) with the middle fairy, as well as an unopened ball or two. I got a little checklist from that lot and saw that there were four fairies total. 

That was quite a while ago. I posted about these last July and only just now have found a third fairy. I paid $26 for a small lot of 5 Surprise items all to get her. (Although I did get a mushroom and daisy in new colors, too, as well as another ice cream animal and some unicorn keychains.)  

I'm really thrilled to have three of the four! The fourth has pink hair and a bright green dress reminiscent of Tinker Bell. If anyone ever sees her for sale, please let me know!

REVIEW: Disney Store ILY Tiana

Oh, this girl. I'm apparently doomed to never get a version of her with perfect eyes. Ah, well. She's still cute. 

I actually really liked her sportier outfit, which is why I went for her. 

Accessories. 

She's super cute. 

Would have preferred some better jewelry. No earrings? 

Love the cut of the top. 

She does have the face markings. 

I wonder how many errored versions like my Evil Queen fan exist. 

Not a huge fan of the jacket. It's cuter off than on. 

This is cute but kept popping off her hand. 

I'm a fan of the little loops Monster High uses. They're more stable for holding accessories. 

And that does it! I love all three of my new girls. Not planning on getting any of the others. While these ones are pretty and the clothes are great, they still haven't fixed the problems with the bodies and that makes me less willing to buy ones that aren't that appealing to me. I do hope both versions of this line continue, although I really wish they'd find a way to let this body sit down!

REVIEW: Disney Store ILY Belle

I didn't want this girl at first, as we have an awful lot of tan girls with medium brown hair: original Cinderella fan, painted eye Mickey/Minnie fan, Cruella fan, and this Belle fan. However, this one is my favorite of the four. 

I quite like her clothes and makeup that's what won me over.

Accessories. 

I forgot how much this body does this wide arm stance. It's...unusual. But she's gorgeous anyway. 

I love all of this. The pink skirt isn't my normal thing, but it works. 

She's really beautiful. 

She does have the face markings. 

Cute pink streaks. 

Love the Belle tee.

Great shoes. 

Adorable bracelet. 

She is the only one so far where I'm not only keeping the ears but displaying them on her. Actually, I don't think I kept any of the other ears. 

Adore her! 

I really love the Belle top, but I also really love this hoodie. A little bit more than the tee apparently, as she's staying in it.
