REVIEW: HAIRDORABLES HAIRMAZING PROM PERFECT WILLOW

Yay, we're at the last one!

It's Willow. I know a lot of people love Willow. I frequently love Willow. But as with Harmony, they played it a little too safe and outside her theme.

Accessories include: Stand, brush, giant hoop earrings, purse, corsage, and shoes.

This dress is one of the heaviest doll outfits I've ever dealt with in playline. Her skirt is HUGE. And it is HEAVY.

Unlike Kali though, she works the sequins. There's shape to this.

Her shoes are simple, but pretty.

With a skirt like this, you need simple.

Her hair is gorgeous. I love this type of braid on her. Not a fan of the bangs, but the braid is perfect.

She's got a headpiece like Harmony that slides into her hair, but unlike Harmony, it was attached in the box so it's staying that way. Also unlike Harmony, I actually love this.

I love the matching corsage, too.

I don't care for the top of the dress.

The purse is lovely. It's the only really whimsical touch to her. That's what she's missing. She's almost too plain to be Willow. Like Queen Willow from the Masquerade set has more character than this and she's a small doll.

Don't get me wrong, she's very pretty. She's just not really giving me Willow vibes.

EARRINGS BAD.

Seriously, who thought those went with this?

One last full shot.

And now that we've counted down from most to least favorite...

Here's a shot of them all!

So who's your fave?

REVIEW: HAIRDORABLES HAIRMAZING PROM PERFECT KALI

Moving on to Kali.

Accessories include: Stand, comb, boots, hair flower, corsage, purse.

She does have earrings. They come packaged on the doll herself. I didn't take them off like I did Harmony's when I was deboxing.

Okay, this right here showcases my two biggest issues with Kali.

First, her hair flops over. It's kind of a mess.

Second, her dress is really thick and kind of unattractive. I love the color combo, but it's a bit lumpy. The skirt is so stiff.

Her hair is actually pretty glorious from the side. But how to get it to stand up better?

The hair flower does indeed help. But the rest is still kinda limp.

I really wish they'd given three of those hair flowers, one for every separate pigtail. I think they'd stand up better that way.

She's another one that can pull off the big earrings. They help distract from the hair a bit.

Her makeup is great though. She's got my 3rd favorite makeup look after Neila and Bella.

Another look at the hair flower and her corsage is adorable.

The boots are hands down the best part of her. I remember these from Toy Fair and how I loved them then.

Boots from the side.

And I managed not to take a picture of her purse. It's honestly that forgettable. The pixellated theme can only go so far before it becomes repetitive.

I may work with her hair more at some point.

REVIEW: HAIRDORABLES HAIRMAZING PROM PERFECT HARMONY

I really thought Harmony and Kali would be up higher on the list, but they're in 5th and 6th place. It's really more like a tie. Each one has great stuff, each one has issues. I put Harmony first because I just went with alphabetical order.

Accessories include: Stand, brush, two different earrings (these are on her in the box, not in the baggies), corsage, barrette, purse, and shoes.

Harmony's biggest failing for me is that she could have been epic, but she just didn't quite get there.

Her makeup is quite tame. and she lacks a showstopping piece on her head so there's really nothing interesting to look at.

The tiny braids are cute, but not spectacular. She has the most boring hair of the line.

The big earrings actually work on her because they provide some point of interest at least.

Even the purse is a little simple and predictable.

The corsage is cute, but again, not showstopping.

This is the one thing I truly love. These boots are fantastic.

I feel like they played it safe with her except for these boots.

I hate this barrette thing. It's just a giant gold lump and it covers up the only interesting part of her hair.

Okay, without the ugly fur coat, she looks a lot better.

I do like this catsuit dress thingy and making it more visible makes her a lot more interesting.

Last shot.

I do like her. I'm just not wowed by her. This doesn't scream PROM to me. Like it could be a less formal dance or a night out. I love Harmony. She's one of my fave characters, but I've seen her small dolls better designed than this.

REVIEW: HAIRDORABLES HAIRMAZING PROM PERFECT NOAH

Was anyone expecting Noah?

I sure wasn't.

Noah was the last doll I deboxed tonight. And I was not expecting to fall for her, but I totally did. She's got my 4th place spot.

Accessories include: Stand, a brush that looks like a weapon, giant hair flower, earrings, shoes, and purse/corsage combo.

I put her fully together instead of doing more step by step photos.

She really is gorgeous.

I wasn't sold on this look from promo pictures, but all together, it just works somehow.

The earrings are interesting. They stick out a little oddly, but they're designed in a big loop, so it looks more like they're actually piercing the ear instead of jutting out sideways from her head.

I like the combo of purse and corsage. Because she has so much plastic on her, I get that they had to cut costs somewhere and this is a money-saver that works. Her purse is the only one that opens, I think. Maybe Willow's, but I didn't notice.

Her shoes are understated, but that works, too. I really love them.

Getting the stand around her was a little tricky, because it kept moving the plastic flower chain around her, but I finally got it where I like it.

Man, I love her. Who would have guessed?

REVIEW: HAIRDORABLES HAIRMAZING PROM PERFECT DEEDEE

Surprised?

Yep, my 3rd favorite is DEEDEE.

Her accessories include: stand, brush, earrings, corsage, shoes and purse.

Now I honestly thought I'd find this dress super boring.

It's a simple 2-piece prom dress, though the icing-like ruffles at the bottom definitely elevate it.

But there's something about the way it combines with her hairstyle and elaborate icing headdress that makes it really work for her and for me.

Her shoes are quite simple and elegant, like the dress.

Don't expect to see much of them though.

The earrings are terrible. I love that they look like icing letters. Absolutely adore it.

But why is one D backwards? That's weird.

And they're just too big to look good with the rest of this outfit.

Simple little Ds the same size as the corsage would have worked.

That icing corsage though. LOVE.

Her cake with a slice missing purse. Very cute.

Maybe a little too whimsical and not elegant enough for the rest of the look? But eh, I like it anyway.

Her hair from the back.

Stunning. Love it.

And one final shot from the front.

She didn't get a full length, but you'll see her in the group pic that will be at the end of all these reviews.

Again, can't say how much I love this doll. She was a very unexpected favorite. The more I look at her, the closer she creeps to Bella. She'd never overtake Bella, but they might be sitting side by side as a tie for second place soon.

Fourth place? Another big shock.

REVIEW: HAIRDORABLES HAIRMAZING PROM PERFECT BELLA

All right, moving on to the regular line of Prom Perfect. These cost $19.99 each.

If you want to see boxed pictures, look back a few entries for the group shot of all 6 boxed. I didn't take individual ones.

As such, we're starting all these reviews with the boring accessory picture. Oh, well.

So continuing in order of most to least fave, BELLA is my second favorite.

Her accessories: stand, brush, earrings, shoes, purse, corsage.

Straight from deboxing.

Those swan stockings are a show stopper.

I love that Bella has to be a dancer, even on prom night. She's basically wearing a leotard and tights with an enormous train.

She has the most dramatic makeup of the whole line. I love the contrast of the dark glitter eyeshadow and the black lines under her eyes with the pale lip and heart detail.

Her shoes are the one part I don't love. I don't get the giant pompoms.

I think she should have gone with whatever those ones without heels are called. Aha! Gravity wedges. Yes.

Her hair is two simple curly pigtails.

Her earrings are adorable in design, but they're just too big. Some of the girls in this line can actually work the enormous earrings, but not Bella. It's simply too much. That's why the simpler hairstyle also works on her. She's got so much going on with the makeup and feather headdress that an elaborate hairstyle would have overwhelmed her, as do these earrings.

Here she is with her corsage and purse.

I flat out adore that her corsage isn't a flower, but feathers. It's perfectly in theme.

The purse is equally stunning. I love how the feathers are molded and the materials used. I also love that it's designed to slide on her wrist like a bracelet. I popped off her hand and just slid it on.

However, be warned that THE PURSE STRAP STAINS. Going all caps for attention there. That dark purple paint is a gorgeous color, but the second you put it on her, it starts rubbing off onto her skin. I don't intend to ever take it off her, so I didn't mind, but you've been warned. The purse strap stains.

And here is one final full-length look at Bella.

She was the only one I bought for a while. I knew I'd love her most of the regular set and I was right. She's 2nd only to Neila.

My third favorite though...that was a definite surprise.

REVIEW: HAIRDORABLES HAIRMAZING PROM PERFECT NEILA/LOGAN

Okay, guys, we have A LOT to cover tonight. And it's already 12:30, so I'm gonna be up late. Not that I didn't plan for this.

So tonight, we're looking at the entire lineup of the Hairdorables Hairmazing Prom Perfect series. You ready for SEVEN back to back reviews?

I'm not sure I am, but let's go.

I decided to do this in order of my most to least favorite.

Neila, of course, is #1. Was there any doubt? No. There was not.

This set costs $36.99 and is an exclusive to Amazon. (I think. They call it an exclusive anyway, so I assume it's theirs.)

I'm not going to show you step by step deboxing or how the box unfolds into a backdrop if you debox it INCREDIBLY PERFECTLY.

Hint: I struggled at that.

I'm not going to show you the accessories in their baggies. You know how Hairdorables works. You pop open the cardboard windows and the accessories are in baggies behind them.

So what comes in all those baggies?

The stand parts that aren't the pole. The poles are next to the dolls.

A brush.

Shoes for both dolls.

Neila's purse.

Neila's corsage. (Logan's is on him already.)

Neila's earrings. Be careful with the single star. I almost lost it when it shot out of the bag.

Balloons that no one can hold.

Logan's sunglasses.

Logan's little sign that I assume he asked her with well before the dance, so why does he have it now? Promposal! That's the word. I had to look it up. (It's been a long time since my prom, y'all.)

Here's Logan straight from being deboxed.

He is SO CUTE, you guys. I'm pretty picky about male dolls, but man, is he cute.

I love the tux, too.

Very nice.

I'm not going to undress him and show the male Hairmazing body. Why? Because his boutonniere is tied around his arm with a plastic band. I don't want to mess that up.

Outfit-wise, you can see the shirt is short-sleeved.

The shirt and pants are all one piece.

His hair is mostly flocked "shaved" with a very gelled top layer that you can see is coming a bit loose.

Ridiculous sunglasses.

Cute shoes.

I had to sit him down to get the balloons to stay up. The promos show Neila holding them, but there is no way her twig arms are going to hold these. Logan can't even hold them without them being leaned on something.

He really is adorable.

I'm even madder now that the other 3 boys didn't get made. They could have come along with other girls that haven't gotten Hairmazing dolls yet. Or even with 3 of these girls. But I am thrilled Neila got made.

From the back.

Let's move onto Neila.

Here she is straight from deboxing.

I'm not the biggest fan of the legs on these dolls. They seem to get bent in the packaging a bit and they're not the most stable things.

She has the best makeup of this line hands down.

And the best earrings!

Again, be careful with this one. It's small, but also don't try to force it in. I had the post bend on me, but I managed to straighten it and get it in place. It is never coming out.

I'm going to take a sec here to talk about her hair. Most of it is fabulous. But she does have gel on the sides that are swooshed back and that for some reason, carried into the small partial ponytail. She's the only doll from Prom Perfect that I had to rinse gel out of.

These boots are PERFECT.

Translucent glittery black so they look like the night sky and the partial star cutouts on the sides.

They're not the most stable things, but Hairmazing isn't exactly known for stable footwear.

I do love that zodiac train, too. And the dress. EVERYTHING IS AWESOME.

From the side.

She looks like a sci-fi warrior princess.

Her purse is super cute And I love the corsage.

Together.

And on their stands!

I have no idea how his is supposed to go on, so I just winged it. There's no way that goes around his waist.

So that's the Neila/Logan 2-pack. Definitely well worth the $36.99. She's the best of the prom line for sure. As well as the best Hairmazing doll in general to date. Yes, I am biased because Neila is my favorite character, but also she really is that amazing. And Logan is darling.
