EVER AFTER HIGH GIVEAWAY!

Have you ever seen a doll and really fallen in love with that particular one, even though you already own that version? Well, that happened to me tonight! I just got my Jillian Beanstalk in the mail on Tuesday, only to see one in Target tonight that stole my heart. So I bought her and she'll be my Jillian, but that left my first one with no particular purpose.

So I figured, why not do a giveaway?

The winner will receive the Jillian pictured here. She is brand new, deboxed on Tuesday. She'll come with that gold stand, too. She's perfectly adorable and eager for a new home.

All you have to do is comment below and tell me what toy line you want me to "overview" soon here on VVD.

I'll keep this open for a few days, then do a random choice to determine the winner. I'll ship anywhere in the world, so no worries about that.

    1. They're definitely on the list! I just have to stop being lazy and pick up the newer Bryten at TRU. I like her. I've just been so distracted by other things!

  2. Something on Begoths would be cool, unless you've done something on them already. I'm interested in them, but there's not really any good thorough reviews on them that I've seen.

    1. That's doable! I have a huge list of stuff I want to cover eventually, but this giveaway will give me an idea of what to hit first.

  3. I'd like to see some older toys. I don't have any specific line in mind, but I think I'd prefer dolls. Maybe something we never got in Finland or something I have forgotten even existed (older, not so popular doll lines for example).
Sorry, this is kind of a vague answer...

    1. I've got a lot of 80s stuff from my childhood on my list, so maybe some of those will work?

    2. Yes, I'm an 80s kid so it would be cool to see if you have something from my childhood as well.

  4. I totally second a Project Mc2 overview! May I also suggest a La Dee Da overview?

  5. A Zelfs overview would be great.
I love them and here in Germany they are hard to find. Thanks for this chance to win this doll.

    1. Definitely on the list, though I might finish Series 6 before I write it.

  6. Wow, thanks for giving us a chance to win Jillian! How about a review on dolls from Japan, like those by Takara, BanDai or Marmit, etc.?

    1. Unfortunately, I don't have many to work with. I only have two from the Jenny line. I do plan on doing an overview for my set of Lum dolls and Sailor Moon eventually, and maybe a combo post for my other anime dolls.

  7. I think I would agree with Emma Kirton on the overview of the BeGoths, especially considering how trying to get information about them can be hard to do. While this wouldn't necessarily be an overview since the line is still in progress, as a fellow fan, I think looking at the Girl For All Time dolls would provide an interesting post for people looking for information!

I think it could be interesting to provide an overview on Disney dolls, or at least as they relate to whatever franchise? There does seem to be a vast trove relating to Little Mermaid on its own, so seeing a respective on something like that could be interesting.

My last idea (and yeah, I'm sorry it's more than one idea, I start thinking and it can be hard to get my brain to stop) would be Wilde Imagination, though probably more just Ellowyne Wilde herself. Your photographs of some of the earliest releases have always made me grin to see.

Also: thank you on providing the give-away, it's really kind of you and I hope whoever wins falls for Jillian as much as you have!

    1. All of those are on my list! I've got Disney broken down into a few categories. I'll probably do the Fairies first, since they're my main love. Tonner/Wilde will likely be one long post. I've got to dig up some of my old pics for that one!

    1. That I can do. I don't plan on getting the Neon Lights Mal and Evie soon, so I could do an entry for the others. I wish CJ would come out soon, but I could do it without her, too.

  10. I think if you have not done so would be Winx club or older toys like Polly pockets if you collect them. Honestly I like all of your reviews you do a really good job on what these toys are about and how you personally like about that certain toy. Please continue doing a great job here and on Flickr.

    1. Polly Pocket I don't collect. They were cute, but I only ever had one and sold it years ago. Winx is upcoming eventually! I have to get in the right mindset to do the really big entries. :)

  11. I am a fan of Mattel dolls and well, I live in South America. I think it would be interesting comment made toys under license from Mattel outside the United States, there is much history. For example in my country rotoplast industry I had license from Mattel (several years 80s 90s) and only made Barbies that are now sought after by collectors. It would be interesting comment on this topic!

    1. That would be really interesting! Unfortunately, I don't know anything about the details. I've seen Brazilian (I think?) versions of some of the Barbie and the Rockers dolls with great characters that I'd love to own, but I don't know enough to write about them myself.

  12. Yay for Jillian! I think shes so cute. I'd like to see an overview of the Rika-chan dolls. They look really adorable and I'd like to see a nice in depth overview of them. <3 <3

  16. An overview of anything jun planning/groove would be great! I'm especially curious about earlier pullips, hestias and classmates.

    1. I definitely have Pullips on my list and I likely still have old photos of my earliest ones. I was big into them pretty early on and have no idea what they've been doing the past few years aside from a load of Sailor Moon dolls. Heh. Hestias I can do a little of, too, but I never got into Classmates.
