PRE-ORDER: Hasbro Ralph Breaks the Internet Sets

I just stumbled across pre-orders for Hasbro's 2-packs of the Disney Princesses in their Ralph Breaks the Internet outfits.

Each costs $29.99 (or so) and is expected in stock on the 20th.

I'm going to list them from best to worst, in my opinion.

Cinderella & Mulan:

Mulan is a gimme. Short hair plus awesome outfit plus sassy expression? Sold.

Cinderella is a total surprise though. I find her outfit one of the most boring in the set, but her face, particularly in the boxed promo pic, is super cute. She's definitely reminding me of Betty from the Archie comics here.

Jasmine & Aurora:
https://www.amazon.com/Disney-Princess-Internet-Jasmine-Accessories/dp/B07NDCRLZK/

I didn't see this set right away. I had to search for it and for some reason, it has a release date of...July 20th? Why? Weird. This happened with some Marvel Legends figures and the later release date turned out to be the right one, so I wonder if this is the correct date. Ten days from now seems awful quick. We'll see.

Anyway, I honestly hemmed and hawed a bit with placement for this set. Aurora holds it back. She's lovely, but I wish she had more expression. She should look either sleepy or sassy. See the smug in the picture in the box? Like that. But no, she's got generic doll face. Thankfully, Jasmine is here to pick up her slack. Her outfit is great, hair, makeup, I-take-no-crap expression. She's why this is in second place.

And I'm just a big Jasmine fan.

Elsa & Anna:
https://www.amazon.com/Disney-Princess-Internet-Clothes-Accessories/dp/B07NDCR9QF/

What? Elsa and Anna in third place? Really?

Yes, really. Both have sass face and cute lipstick colors, plus decent hair. Anna's outfit is cute and Elsa's is, while a bit dull, decent.

Pocahontas & Ariel:
https://www.amazon.com/Disney-Princess-Internet-Pocahontas-Accessories/dp/B07NDCB1JZ/

Pocahontas is the sole reason this set makes it into fourth place. She's got a great outfit and she's really pretty. Ariel...has cute shorts? She looks utterly demented otherwise. Yikes.

Rapunzel & Tiana:
https://www.amazon.com/Disney-Princess-Internet-Rapunzel-Accessories/dp/B07NDBWWSK/

Tiana's outfit is cute. Rapunzel's...should be. It loses big points for being a fake hoodie over a t-shirt.

Their faces though! Both of them look like someone just made an inappropriate comment and these are the faces they're making while backing away slowly.

Moana & Snow White:
https://www.amazon.com/Disney-Princess-Internet-Clothes-Accessories/dp/B07NDBZ5N4/

Moana is not terrible, but she has no wrist articulation. That's some bull. She also doesn't really look different than other Moana dolls.

Snow has one of the better outfits of the line. If she was paired with Tiana or Rapunzel, her set would be higher, but being paired with unimaginative and less articulated Moana brings her down. I'm also not sure how to describe her expression. Ditzy surprise?

Belle & Merida:
https://www.amazon.com/Disney-Princess-Internet-Clothes-Accessories/dp/B07NDCB1K1/

OMG, MERIDA, WTF?!! I love her outfit. My fave after Mulan. But what in the hell did they do to her eyes?!!!

Belle with her less cute ditzy surprise face and boring, monochrome outfit can't save this set. Last place.

I'm going to order some of these. Let's see when they actually come out.

ETA: Walmart also has listings for the dolls, saying delivery will be April 7th. Hasbro Pulse has the 14-pack for $199.99, saying it will ship starting March 18th.
