This photo shows the original facemold style for these dolls. It's far different than the current incarnation. These versions are also not bendable like the current ones.
Left to right: Bluebell, Keltie, Fifer, Poppy, Sarinia, and Elula.
The dolls were revamped and the same six characters were released in the same outfits. Aside from the new faces, the dolls now sport poseable arms and legs that are bendable even at places they're not articulated.

Wave 2 of the dolls featured 6 brand new characters. Each subsequent release would follow this pattern, although all 6 were not always produced.

Wave 3 saw 2 characters with a limited release (Sashka, Bobbi), which then expanded into a regular release for those same two dolls plus Chrissy. Tanyelle, Ariadne and Elaithea have yet to be released.

Wave 4 is similar to Wave 3 with only part of the wave released. This time though, 3 of the 6 would become available and they're easy to buy. No limited releases this time.

ReplyDeletecan you confirm if the latest dolls come in how the boxes use to look like which were pink and you can see the doll inside through the open front... i live in australia and we dont get these dolls down here anymore so i have to import them myself from online websites... but it is hard to know how they will come with only stock pics provided
ReplyDeleteAll the boxes on the newer ones I've had have been fully enclosed, not the open ones from the earlier lines. I have also seen older characters in the fully enclosed boxes, too, so they may all come that way now. It depends on how old the stock is from the places you're importing from.
