I'm not quite tired yet, so I thought I'd have a ramble about some of the upcoming things I'm excited for.
ADOORBS:
Series 2 looks cute. My main want is Darth Vader, but I'll also be looking for Ariel, Mike and Aladdin.
AMERICAN GIRL:
They got me. That Wednesday collab. I've loved AG ever since it debuted, so to finally see an official goth AG? Yeah, they got me. They would have really gotten me if they'd had the nerve to make a new unsmiling mold for her though. As it was, I thought I was safe, but then went to her item page, saw how many had sold, and I ended up caving. I do think she's quite the hefty price though. I fully admit that.
I'm still waiting for the historical soft dolls to come out.
BRATZ:
Where are the Fashion Pixiez? I briefly saw Yasmin on Amazon and the listing said 7/21. I tried to order her but she was gone already. Or never there. I'm not sure. Sasha briefly popped up but I couldn't even get her in my cart, and she was also more expensive. Weird. Their listings are on Target, but not in stock yet.
DECORA GIRLZ:
I'm caught up on Poniez until Series 2 comes out.
I have big Heather and Pixel on order with Amazon, but there's not even an estimated date yet.
Still no sign of Series 2 of the small dolls, though Cepia keeps teasing them.
ILY:
Absolutely love my villain girls, as y'all saw.
I want better photos of the budget Rapunzel fan. I'm considering her a maybe. Moana fan is a definite yes once she comes out.
JEM:
WANT PIZZAZZ NOW.
MONSTER HIGH:
Fearbook is in hand and will likely be reviewed tomorrow.
Reel Drama is out in Europe, I think? We have to wait until the end of August, which gives me more time to be money ready.
I wonder when G3 Skelita will come out.
I really want Potions Series 5, Oasis Jin and the dance-themed Buried Secrets, but I can also wait a few months. There's so much coming out right now.
PIXLINGS:
These little ladies have vanished, which makes me sad. I know someone who went to Toy Fair said they were there but nothing was being revealed. I'm hoping there will be more someday, but they've taken an awfully long break now.
POPPLES:
I did not get the SDCC PC. I want the regular ones to come out.
RAINBOW BRITE:
Dying to get my hands on Indigo! And Patty and the figure set. It'll be nice to finally have Canary and Buddy. Pretty sad that an $85 figure set is more reasonable than trying to buy those two rares on their own.
I'm also really dying for Lala and Indigo to come out. I'd love it if it was before the end of the year. Seriously, what is taking this company so damn long? There are still more characters they haven't made, yet we haven't even gotten all of the first series yet! WTF.
RAINBOW HIGH:
Whitney and Dawn are on Target but out of stock. No Leilani or Misty listings yet. If I could pick one line to release right now, it would be these four. They're apparently on Amazon Spain.
I also want the regular mainbow characters that are coming out.
SSC:
This is another series that's a question. Will they keep making more SSC? There are a hell of a lot of characters to go.
UNICORN ACADEMY:
Where is my Storm?!! And Rory. There's a listing on Amazon but nothing yet.
WINX CLUB:
Okay, first of all, the trailer was FINE. I've seen so much bitching, it's giving me G3 flashbacks. If you don't like it, don't watch it. Go back and watch the old show over and over.
The Trix LOOK AMAZING. There will be no changing my mind.
The dolls look a little less amazing though. Giochi's are okay but not the greatest, but then that's Giochi. The originals were never like MH-level quality or anything. Their strength was their ability to make tons of lines and therefore, represent more outfits shown in the show. They were the first company to make all three Trix. (Mattel can seriously suck it for leaving Darcy and Stormy out.) Playmates's are a mixed bag. Aisha looks simply amazing. There's not a single thing wrong with that doll. Bloom and Flora are pretty close. Stella looks good in the second photo of her where her bangs are cut right. And Tecna and Musa both look better in that same photo. I'm hoping those are the versions that are getting mass-produced, not the weird things shown at Sweet Suite.
YUMMILAND:
I preordered Gwen Gummybear and the candy cane one on Amazon. The Halloween ones haven't come in stock/preorderable yet on either Target or Amazon.
Very impressed with this line though. I really hope one of the darker Sour Sweeties gets a big doll. Like not the pink cake one. You know, the safe one. The problem is that most of my faves have hair that doesn't translate to rooted hair well. It might have to be Nina Heartpop. Astrid might be doable if her stars are barrettes. I'm just not sure they're going to continue the larger dolls.
Okay, I think that wraps it up and I should be getting to bed!
Kinda jealous. Fearbook is slowly becoming my fave G3 line and this Abbey and Venus are a big reason. (Multi-colored Fro! Mendi! Lil' cardigan!)
ReplyDelete*Mehndi. I suck at spelling sometimes.
