REVIEW: Jakks Disney ILY Hocus Pocus, Maleficent and NBC

I'm so glad Walmart got this in stock so fast! I absolutely fell in love with them when I first saw the stock pics.

It's pretty wild to me that the same designers that gave us about twenty different versions of Mickey, Minnie and Stitch fans (more often than not in colors that don't quite fit) came up with these three.

I did not take ring photos, so you can see here that Hocus Pocus has a burgundy one.

NBC's ring is kinda chartreuse-ish. It looks gold in a lot of lights.

My dumb ass forgot to photograph Maleficent in box. Her ring is black.

Okay, this is...from head to toe...the best ILY doll from all the lines they've ever done. There is not a single bad piece in this set. Granted, I think the previous NBC doll with the reddish hair is my favorite doll, but if you look at the full package, Hocus is stronger.

I am not taking that headband off, so it's staying attached.

I've been waiting for them to do more redheads. She's stunning.

LOVE the necklace.

LOVE the finger loops on the long coat.

LOVE the tank.

These shoes are my least favorite bit of the set, but they're still awesome. I like the style, I just don't love the color. But it's undeniably fall, so it fits.

The texture on the coat is velvety. LOVE IT.

Her earrings are a star on one side and a moon on the other.

The redheaded Stitch fan seemed perfect to model the second outfit.

So cute.

While I don't love it nearly as much as the first, there isn't a weak piece here.

The shirt is cuper cute. Love the cut.

Love the purse, too.

The boots have broom deco.

Bottom of the boot. Adorable!

Bottom of the clogs. Also adorable.

I also love this doll a lot. While not every piece is a winner here (you will not see that hat make another appearance), she's a gorgeous doll and most of the clothes are great.

She really is lovely. The one thing I think Jakks is missing is a pale girl with black hair. While this isn't that, at least she's one step closer.

Love the boots. These do have deco on the bottom, generic NBC stuff, but they refused to photograph.

Daisy fan grabbed the boxed outfit with a shoe switch.

Cute bag.

Deco on the sandals.

It's kinda crazy that I think the Maleficent fan is the weakest, but here we are. She's still strong, just not as much as the other two for me.

I didn't like her hair right out of the box. They put gel in it, but I didn't take the time to wash it out, and then it frizzed a little. My fault, but still annoying because these dolls don't use a ton of gel.

I LOVE those earrings! They're my favorite piece from this set.

The second outfit isn't my fave. The skirt is super cute and I adore the purse, but the hoodie is on the weaker side. These boots are way better than the purple shoes though.

Both her bags are great.

These are killer.

But not these.

LOVE the backpack.

So she ended up in the boxed outfit but with the pink boots. She's got both the purse and the backpack, because I love both.

The leather jacket is super nice, but not the easiest to get back on.

The green top I wish was more detailed. Like a raven on the front would have been cool.

Love them so much! They've joined the first NBC girl in my bedroom, not my toy room, to stand alongside my Hocus Pocus, Wednesday and Lydia plushies.

Keep 'em coming, Jakks! More like this. Fewer Stitch and Mickey and Minnie. (Though Goofy, Pluto and Donald would be good. And Ducktales. Oh, and Clarabelle! Love Clarabelle.)
