I was asked to show Mixi, the rare character from Itty Bitty Prettys Series 2. I got her on ebay and thought I'd taken pics, but nope! I forgot to. So here she is.
I love her.
I'm still sad these lines are over. These were really cute dolls.

Ah, here we are. Very likely my final Itty Bitty Prettys review. The only ones I never got were a few from the big cups, but I got all the ones I really wanted, so I never tried for the others. Those big cups are expensive and I'm pretty sure I got one color version of each of the 4 designs repeated in the big cups. I can't remember if I posted her here, but I did track down the rare from the single cup Series 2. I should do a giant ranking for them all for fun. Maybe on my days off.
Anyway, here is Mimi8!
She's the futuristic one.
I really love her coloring. I liked Cosmo from Series 1, but I really love Mimi8.
Her original name was...Sparkle Pop. Uggggggh. I really hope those were just super weak placeholders, not anything they put actual thought into.
With all her stuff on. I still don't like these glasses.
And there we go. Definitely tied for favorite with Trixee.
I like this one WAY more than the first series one in this design.
Her name is Zandella.
Accessories.
LOVE that hair! It is such great colors.
Her initial name was Stacey Raver. It's like they keep getting worse.
Okay, my issues with her are similar to my issues with her Series 1 counterpart.
Zandella has way better hair than Zesti-Beat but how are you going to give her that hair and then that hat? It's not going to work. None of the hats in this entire doll line fit well, but Zandella's isn't even close to her head. All for the best, because nothing is blocking my view of those great curls, but still.
The second issue is that they put a girl in a puff jacket in a line that uses WAIST CLIPS. I managed to stretch Zesti-Beat's clip over her jacket so she's actually been wearing her wings without issue, but Zandella's clip was not having it. And I really like the look of her jacket so I'm not removing it.
I tried putting the wings around the back of her neck, but they bump into her head, which makes the already unstable wing to clip connection even more unstable. So Zandella will just have to be a regular Itty Bitty Pretty and skip the angel part.
And that is it. I think I will do that ranking when I get some free time next and can get back to my shelves. I've got a few things stacked in front of them because I'm preparing to set up a bookcase when I get home after vacation. It would probably be a good idea to get all the Itty Bittys together though. I think I need to get them some little wall shelves so they can all be together.

More Angel High Series 2 have come in. Only two more to go and they might be here tomorrow.
We'll start with Belladonna. On her box, her original name was Karly Star. Definitely a good change there.
Accessories.
She's not one of my faves, but she's still cute.
One of my favorite things about this line is how many of them wear glasses.

Her headband went on easily. I'm not sure it was that easy on the original version of this style. (Everyone in S2 is a recolor of S1 except for Blossom.)
So that's Belladonna. Very cute.
Then we've got Pomme. She seems to be a candy-loving cheerleader.

Another one that's cute but not my fave.
Her original name was Rina.
With the earrings and wings.
Amazingly, she can actually wear all her accessories. The headband isn't struggling to fit in the same spot as her glasses.
Her purse is kind of a pain to close. The strap plugs into a hole on the heart part and the plug was a bit too big for the hole. But at least it shouldn't pop open.
And finally, we've got Blossom. This one had the random name of Yasmin originally. Weird. I mean, Yasmin is a flower name, but it's still so Bratz-related to me that it confuses me whenever anyone else in the toy world uses it.
I love those flower wings.
She's definitely one of my top faves.
Put the headband on before the earrings or the earrings might fly off.
The little choker is on, it's just not visible.
Yeah, she's definitely up there with Trixee and Rio. So cute!

Zuru snuck out a second Itty Bitty Prettys Angel High series before the apparent demise of the line. I was surprised they made it to Amazon and even more surprised when they started to ship. These two are the first arrivals.
They come in little brown shipper boxes that amusingly have their original names on them. Rio (white hair) was Britt Flair and Trixee (red and black) was Scarlett.
They each come with a checklist, an "angel cloud," and the wings on the back of the ball are a barrette.

Rio's accessories. I'm predictably not putting that fanny pack on her. I don't think it would fit with the wings even if I did like it.
She's adorable.
Her wings gave me a little difficulty. You have to put the waist part on first and then attach the wings, but they weren't wanting to stay on for the first few tries.
Trixee's accessories.
I guess the wings are color change. Maybe they have makeup, too? I haven't checked yet but may later.
She's so goofy cute. I love her. Her hair is dark brown, not black.
Mine sadly has that dark smudge on her face. I may eventually buy a second one or attempt to clean her up with a little acetone.
Her wings actually do fit with the cage skirt.
So there they are, the first two! I have one that should be here tomorrow, and then the other four haven't shipped yet.

I never thought I'd see this day, but Zuru's Angel High Series 2 has appeared on Amazon! They're not in stock, though you can order three of them. They're in the "temporarily out of stock" limbo that sometimes turns into in stock and sometimes disappears into cancelled. But it's good to see them have listings. That's a step forward.

I accidentally stumbled across an update on Zuru's product page for Itty Bittys! I never thought we'd see a second series of Angel High, and honestly we may never actually get these in stores or online, but it is good to see them regardless.
Here's the packaging. They're doing color change makeup and hair extensions.
We'll start with the blue-haired space one. Clearly a recolor of Cosmo.
Love her.
Then we've got a Coco-Love recolor.
Cute but Coco is way cuter.
Gotta do this one next. She's my favorite. I love me some red, black and white, and she looks so goofy that she's darling.
Recolor of Pascal. Definite improvement.
Recolor of Zesti-Beat. Also an improvement. Love the hair!
This one is a black and white recolor of Twizzle. LOVE her. I love Twizzle so I'd say they're both equally good.
This one is a recolor of Cara Mello. Not my favorite but neither was Cara.
Unlike the first series, there are seven in this series. This is the last girl.
I don't see little ruffled socks on any other girls. No flower headbands. So I think this is actually a totally new design not used in any series yet. She's super cute.
I would love to see these actually come out, but I'm not very hopeful.

I didn't bother to take photos in the packaging, because I've already reviewed 3 of these, but the rest of the Angel High line finally came out. I got them on Amazon. These girls are a spin-off of Zuru's Itty Bitty Prettys. Same basic idea, but no real "surprise" gimmicks, just packets to open.
So this one is Pascal.
She has a little candy purse.
Brush and barrette.
This is Zesti-Beat. Her friends call her "ZB" according to the website so I'm going to abbreviate it like that, too.
The wings on these, if you remember my first review, are attached to a waist clip. Maybe you can guess what the problem with ZB here is.
Her coat is so puffy that the clip is absolutely stretched to the limit and I expect it to come flying off any second.
I could take off her coat and it would probably be fine, but I actually kind of like the coat. It makes her more interesting and I like how they molded it to look like it's in motion.
Here she is in her hat. At the moment, she's on the shelf with both hat and wings on. We'll see how long it lasts.
Yeah, I wasn't putting that necklace on her.
Here's Twizzle! This my fave from the line along with Cosmo.
