I opened one of these dolls last week and loved her, so I picked up another tonight to review better.
If you like cats and dolls, you might like these little darlings. They're not fashion dolls like Catwalk Kitties or the werecats from Monster High, but hey, neither of those lines exist anymore, so...
These cost $9.88 at Walmart. I find this an extremely reasonable price. I'm going to say it right now. They're a way better value than LOLs.
Each Purrista comes in a little coffee cup.
There's a lot inside!
The blue round piece is a bed. You can actually flip the white lid of the cup over to stand on its legs and put the bed inside to make it taller. I fully admit I just saw this in the Amazon listing photos and did not think of it myself. I'm sure a kid would have though!
There's a round recipe card that identifies your doll if you remember from the checklist which girl likes which recipe. There are an instruction booklet and the world's shiniest checklist. I can't even write on the darn thing. The big packet is the doll, the smaller one is her skirt and accessory. The creamer cup has her shoes and top and the teabag holds the meowbles.
We'll open our doll first. This is Kitty Purrcino.
She's a nice cream color with awesome asymmetrical pink hair that fades to a lighter pink at the ends. The dolls' eyes are nice and glittery, and it's less crusty than the glitter LOL eyes. These look really nice.
Aside from the usual points of small doll articulation, she also has an articulated fluffy tail. This is removable and you will need to take it off to get the skirt on. Getting it back on can be tricky, but it's not the hardest thing ever.
Kitty profile.
The skirts are all fabric and they're all furry like this. They're elastic-waisted.
The shoes and top are rubbery.
I love that little drink purse!
There's a split in the skirt so it lays over her tail.
All dressed up. She's really cute.
And here's Mimi Meow, the one I opened the first time.
Are you thinking what I'm thinking?
Yep, the hair comes off!
And can be switched.
Nah, it's better the other way.
So what about the teabag? Well, you fill your cup with water and drop it in. It dissolves quickly and you'll see if you've got a string of one, two or three meowbles.
I got three!
Again. I got three the first time. Apparently, I have meowble luck.
There are separate things you can buy that have more meowbles. I think you make jewelry with them? Something like that.
The meowbles are on the flipside of the checklist. I apologize for not photographing it, but it is impossible. It's so shiny that I can't get a good shot.
But these guys are: Tinsel Meow, Woodruff Meow (my fave) and Chatty Meow across the top. Poppy Meow, Huffy Meow and Cotton Meow across the bottom. I've gotten some of the ones I'd want the most, too. Cranky and dark brown.
And for those wanting to know size, they're much bigger than LOLs and a little smaller than Fantasy Friends.
Here's a group shot from the Amazon listing.
I really want that black one! And the brown. And the mint. And the ones with adorable pigtails and huge eyes.
I need MORE.

Cutetitos Series 4 FRUITITOS Cheat Codes!
I finally found some Fruititos! You guys rock because you've kept up with all the codes, and I was able to get two of the three I wanted.
I love the neon colors on these. I may end up with some more just because they're so bright and really smell good.
I neglected to take a photo of either one wrapped, but they're done in the typical fashion, only the outside of the tortilla is brightly-colored. Or brown. There were two brown ones there.
Here's the checklist. I really want the crab!
And maybe the cherry bear.
Card fronts.
Flamito! I love the dragonfruit dragon aspect. I have an older designer plush that's the same concept. I's always cute.
So when you unroll the burrito, you can see what scent your toy is. These are quite strongly-scented, especially this watermelon. But it's in a good way.
And Buzzito the adorable bee is orange-scented.
I love his six little legs and tiny stinger. He's super cute. I hope they do more insects.
So let's do those codes!

HAIRDORABLES Series 4 Part 3
Got some new girls from Series 4 to share!
I got Ice Ice Harmony and DeeDee Float in a trade.
This Harmony wasn't high on my want list, but she's super cute in person.
I think this is my first repeat dress sticker, so those are not unique to each doll.
Love her little side braids.
She's got cherries on her bottle, which is usually an indicator of what scent she is, but this doll is totally cotton candy.
Shades on.
Crookedly because I suck.
A little better look at her outfit.
I love those translucent boots!
Then we've got DeeDee Float, who really should smell like root beer. I'm disappointed she doesn't. She's like vaguely vanilla-ish.
This was not one on my want list at all, but Hairdorables are powerful and it doesn't take much to win me over.
I adore her purse.
I like how she looks prim and proper and a little retro.
Purrrrrrrrrrse.
Yes, glad I got her!
I got Beam Me Up Neila from ebay, because Neila's my favorite and I have no patience when it comes to her.
I love that this one comes with that adorable alien toy! Neila clearly is either skilled at carnival games or spent a lot of money to finally win!
Her dress sticker is one I haven't seen before.
So cute!
Neila's scent is watermelon, marked on the bottle and stickers, and she smells pretty strongly of it. In a good way.
I like the heavier eyeshadow on her. It's pretty.
A little bit closer shot.
I love these glasses, but this is one whose hairstyle and eyes I don't want covered up!
I gave them to Night Sky Neila and she's got them propped on her head.
I ordered one more doll off Amazon and was absolutely thrilled when I opened the box and saw that telltale gold stand!
Sugar Skull Skylar!
This doll was most certainly supposed to be a rare. She has a special stand color, tinsel in her hair, a glittery flower headband, and the silver paint on her name brush.
Love her makeup!
She also has multicolored tinsel in her hair. It's pink, gold and blue.
There is a little lavender streak on the underside of her hair.
This Skylar does have one big flaw that seems to be on all the dolls found so far. She has the big boots from Cinnamon Skylar, whereas Cinnamon Skylar has the delicate flower sandals that this doll should have.
Her stock hairstyle is a ponytail, but I had to free all that multicolored tinsel.
The one bad thing about having her hair down is that her little ear curls are hidden that way. I love these!
Flower Power Rayne has also informed me that this is how her headband is worn.
She's so smug.
I've got two more coming from Mercari, so there will be a Part 4 soon. I may order a couple more from Amazon on Friday, too.

MONTH IN REVIEW: January 2020
Here's the pic I was talking about.
And another group shot. Jill (pink) and Dan (blue) were in the same order with Geronimo.
These are gorgeous bears. There's something about their faces and they're very cuddly.
Clarabelle was my one mohair pick from the 2019 regular collection. I had not planned on getting random mohair from the club selections, but I did end up with Sparks and Snapdragon. I'm not sure if that will happen this year or not, but I have no regular mohair planned.
My mom adores this elephant. She's incredibly cute and has very unusual pale blue eyes.
FlipFlop is a jointed mohair keychain that was a gift from my favorite stockist! So sweet of her. I love him.
Big, soft, floppy, happy Talitha was a bear I never thought I'd own! I gave up trying to find one after so many people I knew got her super easily. But apparently, the right one was just waiting for me.
She's so happy-looking.
I picked up the lovely Taomi from the same US seller. Very unusual colors on this girl and she's way bigger than I thought from pictures I've seen of her before.
Fiddy was the last to arrive in stock of my 2019 pre-orders, though not the last to come home. My biggest layaway was paid off this week and I'll have a lot of new bear pics in the February Month in Review.
Fiddy is from the cheaper Bearhouse collection, but she's just as detailed, if not moreso, than the regular plush. She's just lovely.
I completed my Dragons & Beasties gem dragon collection near the end of January.
My Unicorn Squad figures.
And my favorite Hairdorables Shortcuts from Series 2! Stella, Neila's little sister, is of course my favorite and I can't believe I got lucky enough to open her dinosaur-themed doll, which was my most wanted from the line.
There we have it, January done.
Flynn, on the right, arrived in December, but Geronimo, in the middle, arrived in early January, so the trio is finally complete.
I love these guys. Rich colors and super soft fur on their arms, legs, ears and faces.
And another group shot. Jill (pink) and Dan (blue) were in the same order with Geronimo.

MONTH IN REVIEW: December 2019
Wow, I never realized I didn't do a Month in Review for December. And here it is February. Whoops. I'll take a few moments to knock these posts out.
December began with the lovely Artemis, who's an older Charlie Bear designed by frequent CB artist Heather Lyell. Lyell's bears are typically a bit smaller and have simple black eyes, so Artemis's big brown ones are unusual. I got her on an amazing half off Black Friday sale after having her on my wishlist for over a year.
Caramel on the left was joined by sister Sherbet Pip.
Tiny Nissa the fairy bear is finally getting her companion in a few days. They took forever to release Fey in the US, so look for a photo of the pair come February's Month in Review.
They're both going to look cute with witchy Broom and Potions, who are finally coming to me from my stockist!

Also along for the ride in the same batch of deliveries was Billabong, who's in the center here. Bud and Bing were previous releases and Billabong goes so well with them, despite being said to go with Splodge from the 2019 regular collection.
I picked up little Levi from QVC. He's darling. That blue nose really makes him.
Meet the most expensive Hairdorable I own. I LOVE Rayne Shine. She was worth every penny.
Wren is from the same release as Sherbet Pip, Billabong and Nissa. I didn't pick him up right away, because I didn't fall in love until I saw owner pics and then he was sold out, but he reappeared later on thankfully.
I love those big feet. I think Logan from the 2020 collection will be this same body shape.
Sausage is an older bear that's been my most wanted for years. I finally found a good one at a time when I had money and imported him from the UK via ebay.
I love this bear. I don't know what it is about him. I don't typically like standing ones much because their feet are hard and that makes them less cuddly, but he manages to still be very cuddly. I love his colors even though they're not as bold as, say, Cherry Pie or Pumpkin Pie. He's just great.
I am going to end December with him, even though I have one more bear that arrived in December. He's in a group picture with one that arrived from January though, so it makes sense to put him there instead.

HAIRDORABLES Series 4 Part 2
I ordered 5 more Hairdorables from Amazon, hoping they'd come from a different state and different batch than my Pennsylvania ones. Well, they came from North Carolina, but they're the same batch as my first ones.
So the first I opened was a double of Sandy Sallee in the only blue box. All the others were the purple hair box. I'm still convinced they match up.
My second was this adorable Berry Bella.
Bella's really become one of my favorites since Series 2 and this one is no slouch. She's darling.
Fluffy curly hair. Cute drink bottle. Darling purse.
And she smells like sweet strawberry. It's strong, but not bad strong.
Next purple box? It's another Bella.
SIGH.
And then a FOURTH Bunny Kat. Bunnies. Bunnies. It must be bunnies.
But then, my luck rebounded.
I saw a SILVER stand in the bottom of the box.
KITCHY KALI!
This is the regular rare doll of the line. (Not the ultra rare.)
Although I have a theory that there were more rares planned. I've seen Sugar Skull Skylar and she has tinsel hair, a gold stand and her name painted on her brush, too. She was totally supposed to be a rare.
Cute little bird friend.
There is a space between her braids for her headband to nestle, which is nice.
It's really hard to take a picture of, but her eyeshadow is composed of tiny flowers.
Hair from the back.
And shoes!
She's so cute. I never would have overpaid for her, but I was thrilled to open her. Makes up for all the doubles a bit!
