REVIEW: Jakks DC POISON IVY

I was not expecting new comic book-themed dolls, so these were an excellent surprise. 

The ladies are made by Jakks and cost $39.97 each. Currently only at Walmart. 

I didn't do any measurements or body comparisons, because they've been done so well already. 

Love the box art. Ivy in my head can either be a regular skintone or green. I grew up with her in the 90s cartoon, so she was never green then, though I do also like the green skin. 

Absolutely stunning. I love my Mattel Barbie Poison Ivy and DCSG's, but this one is also stunning and a different depiction. One of the great things about comic characters is that they've been around for so long that many have had different looks over the years and they don't have to look only one way.  

This line has the cutest little faces!

The hair had a little gel in it at the ends and the two strands that were in front in the packaging. 

I like the shoes. 

Love the subtly patterned stockings. 

All the details are so nice. 

Her little purse opens. 

She holds it fairly well. 

Overall, I love most everything about her. 

I love how they did the cape, but I do wish companies would come up with better ways to display capes in boxes. She's got holes in the material from the plastic tabs. There simply must be a better way! 

She did come with a stand, but I didn't like it. 

Those are my only two nitpicks though. The doll herself is perfection.
