I finally got California Dream Christie. 

She had sticky legs but I cleaned them up a bit. Still sticky, but not nearly as bad. She also has the common discoloring on her legs, but it's not that bad. 

I like this outfit, so she's staying in it. 

She's adorable. 

Today, I took two bags of unsold items to the local toy store to swap for store credit.

I got 1993 Italian Barbie boxed for $20. 

I used to have her, but she must have been left behind in Buffalo or Florida. 

 

I also got 1995 Polynesian Barbie boxed for $20. 

Lovely use of the Kira mold. 

My favorite of the boxed dolls is 1993 Moonlight Magic. I saw her there a couple trips ago but didn't get her. Glad she was still there! She was $25. 

Stunning! The Black version is on my eBay watchlist and will probably be the next doll I buy after I'm home from my trip. 

This was my big score though. She was loose in a plastic bag and I grabbed for her as soon as I saw that gorgeous dress. 

I had no idea who she was, only that she was clearly an Irish doll, collector, and on the Model Muse body. 

Turns out she's Áine from the Legends of Ireland line. She was released in 2008. She's nearly perfect, aside from missing her box and stand. The one thing I can't figure out is if she had shoes. No photo I've seen of a loose one has shoes. 

But she was marked $8. Considering I traded my items, she cost me nothing and she goes for around $75 or more in this condition! I'm not planning on selling her, since I so rarely find expensive items for cheap. She's gonna get celebrated for a while!
