REVIEW: Living on the Veg Series 4 Radlads

Living on the Veg started with mushrooms, then moved to corn. The third series was squash and the fourth we knew were radishes. However, I honestly thought these were not going to come out. There are two large radish plush on Amazon, but neither design appealed to me. 

When these turned up on ebay, I had to grab the entire set. The seller had two of each. No idea how they got them, but I'm grateful!

With the corn, there was one that was made but quite hard to find (Dylan). With the squash, eight characters were shown, but two never released. I'm betting we'll never seen Jordyn or Chester. Jordyn actually has a listing on Walmart and you can see him in plush form. He's super cute, so it's a shame he was left out.  

Here we have Sydney and Charlie. 

Charlie is definitely in my top faves for the entire Living on the Veg line. 

Ramona and Madison. 

Asher and Wells.

Asher was called Archie in Wells' little profile blurb on his tag. Asher is a surfing instructor and Wells is one of his students.

I didn't take a pic of Asher from the side, but he's got a mohawk.

NEWS: Livin' on the Veg

I was surprised to see Livin' on the Veg on Target's shelves tonight. I only ever saw them in Walmart and they didn't appear to do that well. It seems they have a new life in Target, where they're offering Series 1 for $7.99 each. 

Mostly, the series is the same characters, but there are two new Target exclusives. 

This is Linda. They only had her and not the other one. 

She's so cute! 

A new thing they're doing is including random character stickers. They had a group sticker the first time and all of them had the same one. I'm guessing these are varied, because Linda came with Danny, the other new exclusive character. 

There's a little checklist that's also new.

PLUSHIE SPOTLIGHT: Livin' on the Veg

Jeremy (right) has already been seen in a past plush post, but now that I have all of the Livin' on the Veg mushrooms I want, it's time for a separate post dedicated to them. 

I've only seen these for sale at Walmart. In most cases, they've been $7. I got Fae on clearance for $4 and paid an odd $8.44 for Romy in the same store where I'd previously bought Jeremy for $7. So prices fluctuate a bit. 

Obie is the green guy on the left. I just got him today from ebay. 

Fae (left) I bought on clearance at my home Walmart. I like her winky face. 

Romy was the randomly overpriced one, but I've only seen him at one store, so he was worth it. I like his buckteeth, kinda bird-like feet, and wild hair. 

Shmu is by far my favorite. His tag has art that makes him look more like he's yawning and stretching, but no, mine is throwing a tantrum. His tag did say he loves naps though and that I can relate to. Me, too, Shmu. Me, too. 

Grimsby is the grumpy guy that only looks grumpy. His tag said he's actually the nicest one. 

I had to buy both of these off ebay. My stores never got them or Obie.

Livin' on the Veg is an odd little line, but if you love cute plushies or just plain unusual plushies, these guys are for you.

PLUSHIE SPOTLIGHT: Bum Bumz

Bum Bumz post! 

We've met these two before, but here's another look.

These are part of the smaller-sized line. 

The rose was a Valentine's exclusive and is my favorite. This pic shows the difference in sizes. 

The woolly mammoth is part of the jungle set. 

I'm not sure where they got jungle from mammoth, but I love mammoths, so I'm not complaining. Just a bit curious. 

And this is my newest buddy, the yeti. I adore this guy. He's right behind the rose in my little faves list. 

I'm looking forward to more of these!

PLUSHIE SPOTLIGHT: Squishmallows

I never got wrapped up in the Squishmallow craze, but I do have a few. 

Delfina and Glixa are the huge size. I don't have space for a lot of big ones, but I love these two. (The smaller Delfina I recently gifted to my friend Deneen from the previous post.)

I have no idea what the names of these two are. I got the smaller one on the right in Walgreen's. The larger one on the left with arms is from Target. 

I like this character range. I think they're a very stylized bigfoot. 

Pammy the pig is from the Mystery Squad Easter set. This was a surprise from Deneen in my plushie package that arrived today. Super duper cute!

And finally, the perfectly adorable Perkin the mothman, also from Deneen. I have a lot of cryptid plushies, so he really caught my eye when I first saw him on IG. I'm pleased he's in what I think of as the most common Squish size. It's not the huge size like Delfina and Glixa. This is definitely the size I see the most often, like all the ones at Five Below. 

Squishmallows are the current plushie craze and I think BumBumz will be right there alongside them. There's a wide range of squish with lots of exclusives and price ranges. Definitely something for everyone!
