REVIEW: Snughouls Series 2!

Way back in September 2023, I posted about my first Care Weres. Since then, the brand has renamed itself Snughouls, though I'll still keep both tags to make sure the posts all stay together in a search.

The Series 2 campaign was ginormous with a ton of new characters. There were some new weres, though I didn't get any, and a new bat character, though I didn't get one of those either. (I did in the following campaign, so he'll probably be the next to arrive.) There were beelzebears, mothmen and wolpertingers. All of them are adorable, so choosing was difficult, but choose I had to because these guys are huge and not cheap.

This is Hellfire Beelzebear. He was my first choice.

I love his horns, the cloven hooves, the red ear lining, the pretty eyes, and his soft gray fur.

And also the little wings and the big floofy tail!

I love the entire Beelzebear design, but Hellfire was the ultimate color combo for me, so he's my only one.

Moonlight Mothman was the first of three mothmen designs.

The pictures don't do his colors justice.

Love the toes!

Super cute face.

And the wings.

Grimshroud represents the ever popular death's head moth.

Their little antenna are bendable.

I love the colors on him. He's a bashful character in my mind.

Wings.

Cutie face!

Then there's Luna Mothman.

I fell head over heels for Luna's original design, which used a much darker pink with a pink neck ruff and a moon-themed belly badge. I was disappointed when the design was changed and decided not to choose her anymore.

Lovely wings.

I had originally backed the Krampus Care Were but didn't end up liking his final design. I kept coming back to Luna and decided to swap him for her.

And now I'm glad I did. I think she might be my favorite of the three, but I'm not positive. I do love Grimmy a lot.

All three mothmen!

And finally, Wispy Winds Wolpertinger. I call her Autumn in my head.

The wolpertinger is a German cryptid. They're basically composite animals that can vary in components. This one is basically a winged, fanged, antlered rabbit.

Adorable wings!

And that li'l tail!

I love her colors. She's the most cuddly of the five, too. I think maybe she's a little less tightly-stuffed or something.

I adore all five of these and I'm so happy they're finally home.

I do want to note my immense surprise when this is what I pulled out of the hub this morning. The package came FedEx, though I didn't receive an out for delivery notice until after it was delivered. I never actually got a delivery message from them. I had no idea it was in the hub, being that I figured it would be in a giant box. Nope. This is like the world's biggest plastic mailer.

Honestly, not thrilled about it. These aren't cheap and they should have been handled with way more care. All my extras were just tossed loose in the bottom of the bag. I'm tempted to let the creator know this is how his shipping partner is mailing things, but people have been rude to him about wait times, so I'm not saying anything. Yet. I'm not mad about it, as they arrived safely, but this is just asking for problems.
