REVIEW: Wild Manes Cocoa's Bakery Cafe

Jakks has a new horse line out called Wild Manes. these horses are roughly G1 MLP size. Definitely bigger than G2, G3 and G4. I should have just taken a size photo, but oh, well.

There are several different types of set: basic ponies, ones with slightly more accessories, ones like this with playsets, and ones with much larger playsets. This set cost $21.99 at Target.

The art is quite cute.

So Cocoa comes with a lot of stuff.

I didn't take separate pictures, but she has two fabric pieces: a scarf and I guess I'd call it a work uniform blanket.

Then she has a brush, a barrette, a toy pony, and two pieces that can clip to her legs so she can "hold" items. Almost all the items have a hole on the bottom so they can fit on those pegs.

The cart is nicely made.

Accessories here are a mug, a coffee cup, a smoothie, a plate with a croissant, tongs, and a dessert tray. The food items are all molded into place, not separate.

The back can hold items not being used.

She attaches to the cart easily.

All of her legs are poseable, but only the front left has the lower joints.

Her mane and tail are quite nice.

I prefer her without the scarf so you can see her bangs (forelock?) better.

She's a little tippy.

This is definitely a cute set. Child me would have played with this for hours with my other pony toys.

I will be buying more, but not too many. My main criticism for this line is that almost all the horses are some shade of brown. There are two white and one dark gray, but otherwise, everyone is brown. Cocoa is my favorite of the brown ones, though I do also like Sundae and Zoey. Dark gray Lana is my favorite overall. I haven't seen any of those three sets available anywhere yet, so I hope they get made.
