REVIEW: Pixie Supremes LUNA

Like most adult collectors, I was very unhappy at the price point on these Supremes.

Now that I've opened one, I'm even more unhappy.

Cheap stand.

Potion ingredients.

Giant overpriced hunk of talking plastic.

I actually went through the reveal process. Fizzed the moon crystal out of the potion ingredients and followed the steps the mirror instructed to open the door.

BEWARE! There's confetti! I hate confetti.

Very disappointed her wand doubles as a brush, making it too silly-looking to display her with.

Her shoes are pretty.

Face is very pretty.

Hair is nice.

The outfit quality is okay, but not nearly as good as it needed to be.

Simple body.

I am far from an articulation snob, but for the price point of these sets, this doll could easily have had wrist joints.

Luna is a pretty doll, but I think the regular Pixlings are far better designed. It's clear with this set that you're paying for the stupid talking mirror that's a glorified magic 8 ball. The doll could have benefitted from wrist articulation, better materials on the outfit, molded details on the arms and legs, fancier wings, a better stand, and a wand that was not a brush. Moose releasing not one, not two, but THREE of these dolls and ALL of them have the mirror is not their best idea. They're also very similar designs. If you really like the style of these, I'd say pick your favorite one of the three and save your money on the other two. They're pretty, but simply not worth the cost.
