Okay, guys, we have A LOT to cover tonight. And it's already 12:30, so I'm gonna be up late. Not that I didn't plan for this.
So tonight, we're looking at the entire lineup of the Hairdorables Hairmazing Prom Perfect series. You ready for SEVEN back to back reviews?
I'm not sure I am, but let's go.
I decided to do this in order of my most to least favorite.
Neila, of course, is #1. Was there any doubt? No. There was not.
This set costs $36.99 and is an exclusive to Amazon. (I think. They call it an exclusive anyway, so I assume it's theirs.)
I'm not going to show you step by step deboxing or how the box unfolds into a backdrop if you debox it INCREDIBLY PERFECTLY.
Hint: I struggled at that.
I'm not going to show you the accessories in their baggies. You know how Hairdorables works. You pop open the cardboard windows and the accessories are in baggies behind them.
So what comes in all those baggies?
The stand parts that aren't the pole. The poles are next to the dolls.
A brush.
Shoes for both dolls.
Neila's purse.
Neila's corsage. (Logan's is on him already.)
Neila's earrings. Be careful with the single star. I almost lost it when it shot out of the bag.
Balloons that no one can hold.
Logan's sunglasses.
Logan's little sign that I assume he asked her with well before the dance, so why does he have it now? Promposal! That's the word. I had to look it up. (It's been a long time since my prom, y'all.)
Here's Logan straight from being deboxed.
He is SO CUTE, you guys. I'm pretty picky about male dolls, but man, is he cute.
I love the tux, too.
Very nice.
I'm not going to undress him and show the male Hairmazing body. Why? Because his boutonniere is tied around his arm with a plastic band. I don't want to mess that up.
Outfit-wise, you can see the shirt is short-sleeved.
The shirt and pants are all one piece.
His hair is mostly flocked "shaved" with a very gelled top layer that you can see is coming a bit loose.
Ridiculous sunglasses.
Cute shoes.
I had to sit him down to get the balloons to stay up. The promos show Neila holding them, but there is no way her twig arms are going to hold these. Logan can't even hold them without them being leaned on something.
He really is adorable.
I'm even madder now that the other 3 boys didn't get made. They could have come along with other girls that haven't gotten Hairmazing dolls yet. Or even with 3 of these girls. But I am thrilled Neila got made.
From the back.
Let's move onto Neila.
Here she is straight from deboxing.
I'm not the biggest fan of the legs on these dolls. They seem to get bent in the packaging a bit and they're not the most stable things.
She has the best makeup of this line hands down.
And the best earrings!
Again, be careful with this one. It's small, but also don't try to force it in. I had the post bend on me, but I managed to straighten it and get it in place. It is never coming out.
I'm going to take a sec here to talk about her hair. Most of it is fabulous. But she does have gel on the sides that are swooshed back and that for some reason, carried into the small partial ponytail. She's the only doll from Prom Perfect that I had to rinse gel out of.
These boots are PERFECT.
Translucent glittery black so they look like the night sky and the partial star cutouts on the sides.
They're not the most stable things, but Hairmazing isn't exactly known for stable footwear.
I do love that zodiac train, too. And the dress. EVERYTHING IS AWESOME.
From the side.
She looks like a sci-fi warrior princess.
Her purse is super cute And I love the corsage.
Together.
And on their stands!
I have no idea how his is supposed to go on, so I just winged it. There's no way that goes around his waist.
So that's the Neila/Logan 2-pack. Definitely well worth the $36.99. She's the best of the prom line for sure. As well as the best Hairmazing doll in general to date. Yes, I am biased because Neila is my favorite character, but also she really is that amazing. And Logan is darling.
