BEARRIVAL (and more)

I'm so bad about remembering to do these posts!

So this is Sukhi. She's the last bear I was waiting on from my stockist's sale that I mentioned last Bearrival. I've had my eye on this particular cranky one for a while.

Then we have little Bea from this year's collection. I'm always a sucker for green.

Sydney the echidna is from 2022's Bearhouse collection. The Bearhouse line has a bad tendency to get delayed, which sucks for me, as it's one of my favorite sets every year.

Beautiful blue Sirius is my favorite tyber plush. SO SOFT.

And this little guy is Tree Elf. He pairs with Meadow Troll from my last post.

My picture is horrible, but he has lovely leaf detailing on all his paws.

Here he is making friends with another new arrival. This is Juniper. She's an artist plush by The Dusty Tailor and she's 28" tall! She's described as a "vampire goat girl" by her maker. She has a tail in the back that curls up and there's a more yellowy-green fabric there. The same color is on the underside of her ears. She's utterly amazing and I adore her.

Last and a bit random, but here's an awesome G3 Cleo plush I got from ebay. I saw someone with a Lagoona on IG and had to go look for Cleo. These are made by Toy Factory if you want to look them up. The set is Frankie, Clawdeen, Laura, Lagoona and Cleo. I'm not sure if I want any of the others yet, though they are all pretty cute. I thought Cleo was by far the best one. Of course I did.

REVIEW: TLS Toy STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE Micro Figures

It was so great to come home from a rough workday to get to open these tiny cuties.

I ordered a case of the Strawberry Shortcake micro figures from Big Bad Toy Store. I also ordered Rainbow Brite, which are in a different post.

Each case has 12 packs of 2 figures, so 24 figures total.

They are truly blind. I couldn't find any markings of any sort that would be codes. They're also packaged in tiny black plastic bags, so seeing through them is impossible.

I have not photographed them in the order I pulled them out, but I will be listing my case placement.

Each case seems to have the full common character set, plus 2 rare, 1 ultra rare, and 7 doubles of common characters. Being that there are multiple rares and ultra rares, each case may very well be different.

TOP layer of 6 packs:

Left Front: Custard, Purple Pieman (Rare)

Left Middle: Blueberry Muffin, Crepe Suzette

Left Back: Huckleberry Pie, Almond Tea

Right Front: Ginger Snap (Rare), Blueberry Muffin (double)

Right Middle: Mint Tulip, Strawberry Shortcake alternate outfit (Ultra Rare)

Right Back: Lime Chiffon, Pupcake

BOTTOM layer of 6 packs:

Left Front: Raspberry Tart, Strawberry Shortcake

Left Middle: Lime Chiffon (double), Apple Dumplin'

Left Back: Custard, Pupcake

Right Front: Mint Tulip (double), Peach Blush

Right Middle: Lemon Meringue, Huckleberry Pie (double)

Right Back: Almond Tea (double), Orange Blossom

PICTURED: Apple Dumplin, SSC alternate outfit, SSC, Custard

Raspberry Tart, Blueberry Muffin, Lime Chiffon, Peach Blush, Lemon Meringue, Orange Blossom

My faves!

Crepe Suzette, Almond Tea, Mint Tulip

Pupcake, Huck, Ginger Snap, Purple Pieman

These are scented, though they don't all succeed. A lot of the issue is that some are very faint compared to others. These seven have my favorite scents.

Pupcake, Crepe and Custard all smell like sweet baked goods. Custard is the strongest and best of the three.

Ginger Snap smells amazingly like a spicy cookie. She's one of my two favorite scents of the set.

Almond Tea is my other favorite. I'm not sure how to describe her scent. I don't get almond from it, but tea is definitely there and something else.

Huck and Pieman both also smell great and pretty similar.

Some of them I barely I got a scent off at all. The citrusy ones are kinda sharp, but not as good as the SDCC citrus ones were. I didn't get any mint off Mint Tulip and you'd think that would be easy.

For this set, unlike Rainbow Brite, I definitely want the ones I'm missing. While I like the alternate outfit SSC, I would really have preferred Sour Grapes or Plum for my ultra rare. And the rare Angel Cake is a must have. I'll have to track those three down.

Here are my doubles from this case.

I'm not 100% sure I want to part with Almond, but the others I would.

REVIEW: TLS Toy RAINBOW BRITE Micro Figures

It was so great to come home from a rough workday to get to open these tiny cuties.

I ordered a case of the Rainbow Brite micro figures from Big Bad Toy Store. I also ordered SSC, which are in a different post.

Rainbow Brite, Starlite, Tickled Pink, Sunriser, Stormy

Murky

My favorites!

Lala, Indigo and Stormy are always my favorites. I love Shy Violet here. She's so cute. And Murky is surprisingly adorable.

I'm not sure I want any of the ones I'm missing, although Murky's cuteness kinda makes me want Lurky to go with him. I don't really need Twink, as I have the 5 Below version, or Puppy Brite, though both are cute.

If you want the full set, the cheapest way is probably to just buy a case and then look for the three you'll be missing online.

These are my available doubles. I have extra Sprites thanks to the SDCC pack. I'm keeping my doubles of my three favorites, so they're not pictured.

REVIEW: Disney ILY Jakks Jack & Sally, Stitch, Ariel, Daisy & Belle

FINALLY.

I have ordered this doll three times. The first time, I ordered her with a Cup O' Style. That arrived but this doll kept moving from the "placed" order status to "preparing" and then back again. It did it at least four times. I caught her in stock, so I thought, and ordered a second one. She went right into "preparing" status, so I cancelled the first. A day or so later, they cancelled my second order.

Last night, I saw her in stock again, so I placed a third order. It didn't go into "preparing," but it did say it was coming delivery from my store. Lo and behold, it was driven over from the nearby tiny little Walmart that hasn't reset yet.

Was she worth the wait? ABSOLUTELY.

I love all of this. There isn't a piece on her that I don't love.

BEST ILY EVER.

Don't get me wrong, Ursula is still right alongside her, but this one is a teeny step above.

I'm not sure if I'm going to rinse the gel out of her glow in the dark streak.

She is just stunning. Perfect color scheme.

LOVE.

Okay, we're doing a quick jump to Ariel.

She's very sassy.

Love her. Not so much the outfit. The tank is really cute though and the jeans aren't bad.

Love the fish purse.

I think this is the only sunglasses on photo I took of all these girls. I'm just not a fan of the sunglasses.

This is surprisingly cute. I love the skirt with the sneakers. I tossed the pink top in my sale bag, but I think I'm gonna get it back out.

This is why we jumped to Ariel.

She looks cute, but I'm not sure this is her. Seeing the photo, I think I want her back in the pink top and skirt outfit, but then I need to decide who's going to wear the skirt outfit here. It can't be left in the storage box. Someone must wear it.

They need to do a pale girl with black hair. She'd be perfect for this second outfit.

I didn't want these, but then I saw them in person and you know how that goes.

Forgot to take boxed pics.

While all of this is really cute, maybe I'll try her in the NBC outfit. I dunno. I do love Daisy. She's my favorite of the more classic Disney cast.

Love the shopping bag.

Very cute.

This one is absolutely stunning in person.

Definite Jasmine vibes.

Her outfit is great, too.

Soooooooo pretty.

All cute pieces. The sunglasses are even cute.

I really hate that they did two dolls with the same outfits. It's such an odd choice for the line.

I had to get the redhead, because we don't have one yet. I'd like the second version, but I refuse to pay full price for a doll with bits I already own, so I'll wait for a sale.

She's adorable.

Don't like the sunglasses, but the rest is good. I even like the blue ring.

Cuteness.

She's cute in every combination.

Sadly, she has one defective leg. The calf sticks out at a weird angle no matter how I move it.

Easy enough to cover with jeans.

I do love this jacket, but I also love the long-sleeved top.

And that catches me up on ILY for now. Not sure if I want the blonde Mickey fan. She's pretty, but I wouldn't keep any of her outfit. We'll see!
